Award Nominations Open for Billy Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award and Women’s RISE Award

E-Scrap: The Longevity Conference and the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) are proud to present the Billy Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award alongside the Women in Recycling & Electronics (WIRE) Award. These awards will be presented at the E-Scrap Conference on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in New Orleans along with the Electronic Circular Innovation Award. Nominees must plan to attend the conference to be eligible.

Nominations close Friday, July 10, 2026.

In honor of Billy Johnson, ReMA's tireless advocate for the recycled materials industry who spent nearly two decades advancing proactive recycling policy strategies on issues ranging from electronics recycling to trade, this award recognizes an individual whose career-long contributions have meaningfully shaped the electronics recycling, ITAD and reuse sectors. Nominees must be a current ReMA (formerly ISRI) member.

The Electronic Circular Innovation Award honors individuals and organizations across the electronics value chain who are actively enabling reuse, repair, refurbishment and recycling of electronics.

This award is intentionally broad and inclusive, welcoming nominees from any part of the electronics ecosystem, including manufacturers, brands, recyclers, refurbishers, designers, service providers, technology companies, logistics providers and program or policy leaders.
