Print and digital file preparation
All print ads for the conference program, E-Scrap News and Resource Recycling are due August 1, 2017.
Please prepare ads to these specifications to ensure quality reproduction.
Full-page - 8.5 x 11 (Full Bleed 8.75 x 11.25)
Half-page - 7.5 x 5
Quarter-page - 3.375 x 5
Adobe Creative Suite CC: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or Acrobat
PDF files should be produced in Acrobat 4.0 or higher, with all fonts embedded and at high resolution - at least 300 dpi (high resolution). All PMS colors need to be converted to process colors. Process colors when used with transparency effects will not print reliably as pdfs. To ensure, accuracy send file in backup format (e.g., TIFF, JPEG).
Important Graphics Specifications
Include all graphic files on disk or email:
High-resolution JPG or TIFF (220-300 ppi)
High-resolution lineart TIFF (600 ppi)
JPEG (300 ppi at 100-percent)
CMYK and/or Pantone (PMS) colors from process
Include all screen and printer fonts used
Turn text into outline in illustrator and save as PDF or AI file (eliminates need to send fonts)
Files can be attached to an email to Tori Maier at firstname.lastname@example.org. When sending files via email, be sure to include all screen and printer fonts and graphics. The email subject field should list your company and which conference the ad is for. Include a contact person name, phone and fax numbers in the email. If your files are too large to send via email, please try using Hightail to send files.
Banner Advertisement Preparation
All banner ads are due by July 1, 2017 to receive the maximum exposure.
Banner ads should include company name and/or logo.
Dimensions and Format
300 x 250 pixels
GIF or JPG
Email files to email@example.com. The email subject field should indicate it is a banner ad - e.g., "ABC Company. E-Scrap 2017 Banner Ad". Please include the hyperlink the banner ad should be directed to when clicked on, as well as a contact person name, phone and email.
All print and electrical advertisements, as well as company's marketing material and booth display are subject to approval by Resource Recycling, Inc., which reserves the right to reject or cancel any ad at any time if the ad does not conform to the editorial and grahic standards of the magazine, newsletter and/or program determined by the publisher.
