Extended Exhibit Hall Hours

Exhibit hall hours have been expanded by popular request. The E-Scrap 2014 exhibit hall will open from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on October 21, providing attendees and exhibitors additional time to make business happen.  

Rosen Shingle Creek 

E-Scrap 2014 is proud to have chosen the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida as this year's venue. Conference attendees will receive a conference rate of $159 plus taxes for single/double occupancy. Government attendees will receive the current government per diem at the time of check-in. Opening Welcome Reception

Golfing Opportunities at Shingle Creek Golf Club

The E-Scrap Conference has secured a “Leisure” Golf Tournament for Tuesday, October 21 at the Shingle Creek Golf Club located at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel.

12th Annual Canadian Breakfast  

The Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA) will host a special networking breakfast for Canadian conference attendees on Wednesday October 22 starting at 7:00 a.m.  If you are interested in attending breakfast, contact Jay Illingworth to RSVP at jay@eprassociation.ca.  Space is limited. 


Pick Up Your Name Badge and Registration Packet 

We encourage you to stop by the registration desks on Monday or Tuesday morning to pick up your name badge and conference packet. With many attendees expected at this year's event, the registration lines will be long if everyone tries to pick up badges on Wednesday morning.  Your name badge is required for entrance into conference sessions, trade show, reception and meal functions.

The registration desks, located in the Gatlin Ballroom Prefunction, will be open Monday October 20 from 3:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Tuesday October 21 from 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will re-open on Thursday Octboer 23 at 7:30 a.m. and will close at noon.  

Attendee List and Presentations

We believe you deserve to know who is attending the conference. One week prior to the conference you will receive an email with the attendee list, as of that date, attached.  A few weeks following the conference you will receive an email with a link to a secure Website that will have links to the final attendee list along with the conference presentations.  We encourage speakers to submit expanded presentations, with more information than they had the opportunity to present on stage.

Wear Your Name Badge at All Times

Your name badge is your admission to all elements of the conference, including conference sessions, trade show, meal functions including Wednesday night's reception.  Security personnel will enforce this requirement. 

Prefer Vegetarian, Vegan or Kosher? Have a Food Allergy?

If you did not check this box on your registration, and would like to request vegetarian, vegan or kosher meal, or if you have a food allergy, please email jef@resource-recycling.com to confirm you special dietary request.  Request must be submitted by October 1. 

Have a Latte On Us

In the back of your name badge holder you will have a coupon that entitles you to one complimentary beverage at the hotel's cafe, Smoooth Java, located in the lobby level of the Rosen Shingle Creek.

Internet Kiosk

A complimentary internet kiosk will be available for attendees to quickly check emails. 

Take Part In The On-site Recycling Program

Materials recovery opportunities will be provided throughout the conference. You'll find recycling bins and containers in the trade show, sessions and near registration desks. 

Planning Your Time 

To help plan your time in Orlando, you can review the conference schedule here.  The conference trade show will open at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 21 the sessons start at 8:00 on Wednesday October 22.  The conference will  conclude on Thursday October 23 at 2:30 p.m. For more detailed information on conference sessions, click  here.  Additional events and educational opportunities will take place on Tuesday October 21. Recommended Conference Attire

Keeping in step with the casual style of the recycling industry, we recommend business-causal attire.  Conference meeting rooms are often kept at a cooler temperature while the trade show can get warm with so many visitors, keep in mind packing layers so that you will be comfortable throughout the day.


Traveling to Orlando 

The Rosen Shingle Creek is located 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport (MCO).  We are keeping tabs on airfares and now is a great time to purchase your airline ticket.

*Take the north exit from the airport.
